MetaTeam Roles App
The MetaTeam Roles app provides a single location for managing team roles, responsibilities, and members. When team members have clearly defined roles and responsibilities, they have the autonomy and focus necessary to complete project tasks.
MetaTeam uses a role-based model to organize your team. The role-based model offers an operational perspective and enables you to organize your team in a way that best supports your project.
Manage Team Roles and Responsibilities
Once you decide on the job functions needed to implement your project, you create a set of roles based on those job functions (e.g., accounting staff member, HR lead, administrator) in the Roles app.
Once a role has been created, you can add responsibilities (e.g., create budget spreadsheet, develop policies, book meeting space) via an easy to navigate matrix-like grid.
Individual team members are assigned to roles and by extension the associated responsibilities. You can even align a to-do list with a role.
Features such as a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix, accountability level, responsibility type (e.g., ongoing, periodic, one time only), percent responsibility assumed, percentage of task completed, and estimated weekly hours of commitment work together to increase accountability and ownership.
It also provides a flat overview of the project.
The Roles App also includes threaded discussions so that team members can collaborate on roles and responsibilities.
Integrated Apps Promote Teamwork
MetaTeam’s focused apps foster collaboration and improve performance. MetaTeam addresses virtually every aspect of project management with apps including Knowledge Base, Glossary, Roles, To-Dos, and Decisions. Links between to-do lists from the ToDos app and roles from the Roles app ensure that all team members know exactly what they are responsible for.
Plus, you can adjust e-mail notification settings and be made aware when there are changes made in any app. Emails are generated either in real time or sent via daily or weekly digest based on notification settings.
When team members know that they have been assigned a new role, they can get started on any to-do lists aligned with that role right away and move the project forward.
