Decision Management
MetaTeam is flexible and can address the needs of teams who want more structured decision making support as well as those seeking less.
Related decisions are organized under user-defined groups. In addition to assigning an individual to manage the decision, the decision type (e.g., consensus, majority rule, leader-decided) can be selected from a pre-populated list.
Each decision has its own deadlines, voting rules, ranking questionnaire, associated tasks, threaded discussions and more. You need only use the features relevant to a particular decision.
This structure helps reduce conflict among team members – when it is clear how decisions will be made and who is ultimately responsible for them, the decision making process is far smoother and more productive.

The Decisions app helps you address which decisions should be made first by automatically calculating a ranking score based on your answers to four simple questions – you can indicate that a decision has additional urgency by assigning a priority level to increase the ranking score.
Voting
Some decisions are made based on majority rule.
MetaTeam also offers a simple voting mechanism where, if enabled, team members can vote for or against a particular decision. The voting tab can be configured by decision for an open vote, where all votes are visible, or closed, where they are not.
Threaded Discussions
